POV and length will vary, but these will all be (horn)E, maybe an M will squeak by. This was originally gonna mostly be David/Michael/Star but as my mentally has fully shifted into ‘ship any and all of the vamps in any and all combos’ there will be many flavors of Vampolycult. I coined this for the messy found family polycule that is, was, and could have been: David, Marko, Dwayne, Paul, Star, and Michael.

Notes:

Age gaps are child’s play in vampire stuff but there is something so tragic and relatable to me about being on the cusp of adulthood and never getting to see it. 18 is barely an adult and choosing to give up adulthood or having it stolen from you just hits really good in my opinion.

One of my best friends was a year older than her peers, so Michael is going into senior year at 18. In my mind Star and the Lost Boys were turned in their late teens as well, maybe all 18, maybe not. Dealer’s choice.

I headcanon Marko was turned sometime in the 20’s, Dwayne in the 40’s, Paul in the 60’s, and Star in the 80’s. Hell maybe David makes a new lover every 20 years and Michael was just too delicious to lose. And for our tortured, dramatic king bitch himself, David, he’s been a vamp since 1906 in canon but in mine he was turned on the very stroke of his 18th birthday, Schrodinger’s adult if you will. On the brink of adulthood and escape from his father, only to have it snatched away. I also headcanon that Max is both his vampiric and biological father, for the extra pain.
