It took the teacher ten minutes to realize that Megumi wasn't in the classroom anymore, she was about to ask him a question when she frowned.
“...Megumi?”
No answer, she assumed he'd gone to the bathroom without asking, he usually does when it's noisy and crowded. Five more minutes passed. Still no Megumi. She checked the hallway and the bathroom, nothing. A knot formed in her stomach.
By the twenty-minute mark, the principal had gotten involved.
