Summary
Chay’s eyes flew open, suddenly wide awake when he heard some sound from the outside.
Damn it, was what Chay went through already not enough?! He had his heart broken by a stupid and stupidly handsome mafia prince/his celebrity crush, got kidnapped, witnessed the aftermath of a very brutal massacre, which he still had no idea who was the cause of… and now someone’s breaking into his house?! There wasn’t even anything to steal! Chay went back to their old house because he didn’t want to stay at the compound. Or, not right now anyway. He just needed some time just to himself.

“Hello, P’Kim!” Chay called out happily when he heard the door.
Kim replied with a mix of sign and groan as he entered the room and headed to his office.
“P’Kim?” Chay asked when he found Kim by the liquor cabinet.
Kim sighed again before he emptied the glass.
“Kimmy?” Chay walked up to his boyfriend and placed his hands on Kim’s waist to make him face him. “Could you use words for me, baby? Please?” he said gently while taking the empty glass from Kim and putting it down.
Kim moved closer and hid his face in the crook of Chay’s neck.

Kim sighed as he rolled over onto his back.
“P’Kim. You should be dressed by now,” Chay said when he entered the bedroom and found Kim on the bed, almost exactly as he left him there before he went to get ready.
“Don’t want to go…” Kim muttered.
“It’s your brother’s birthday, P’Kim. Come on,” Chay knelt onto the mattress and took Kim’s hand in his to make him sit up.
“But what if we just… don’t go?” Kim asked.
