Summary
British Airways pilot Anthony Crowley becomes stranded in New York city after a Christmas Eve winter storm grounds all flights out of JFK. Searching for a last minute hotel room, he runs into his ex-boyfriend, flight attendant Aziraphale Fell, who is also searching for a hotel room. With the hotels booked and only one room still available, Crowley decides to ask Aziraphale to share it with him. Surely that isn't going to bring up old feelings for the only man he'd ever loved? It's Christmas Eve and no planes are getting out of the city so the two men decide to revisit their relationship after being separated for nearly a decade.

Summary
Captain Anthony Crowley, pilot for British Airways, along with his First Officer, Anathema Device, are preparing for a routine flight from JFK in the United States back home to London's Heathrow in the UK. Aboard their aircraft are both of their romantic partners and flight attendants, Aziraphale and Newt. Shortly after takeoff, the two pilots notice something potentially serious going on with their plane. While trying to work through the issue, Crowley tries to keep everyone on the flight calm so that he can concentrate on getting the aircraft safely back onto the ground.
