A collection of works inspired by the fact that Virginia legalized same-sex marriage on October 6, 2014, fifteen days before Blue Lily, Lily Blue was released. Ronan Lynch, Catholic extraordinaire and professional yearner, was in love with Adam Parrish before he could marry him. And then, suddenly, he could. Isn't that something?

There's a handful of fics out there addressing the nationwide legalization of same-sex marriage in 2015, but I found nothing dealing with the much more relevant Virginia legalization. My history-major brain went wild.

The canon timeline is a little unclear regarding what year the books take place in, so I played around with it. Each fic in this series is a different take on how this day could've gone down depending on what stage in their lives Adam and Ronan were at. At time of writing, one fic is published and I have ideas for three more.
