Cosmos winced as the tree before him came undone, falling to the ground with a large crackle that rang out throughout the place — he only hoped the action hadn't disturbed any wild life.
He was frustrated, yes.
He never felt like this before.
Sure, Helpy used to be able to get his heart fluttering — but this? This was a whole other feeling threatening to consume him whole.
And like the idiot he was, Cosmos found himself giving in to the demand, rather than fighting back the void wrapping around his body and pulling him into territories he never thought he’d cross.
But that wasn't the worse of it.
At least with Helpy, there was a chance that they could love him back. A chance that they could have a happily ever after.
Gemini? Cosmos laughed at that thought — the idea of his feelings being mutual was like the concept of a pig flying in the air.

Everything had gone wrong.
Cosmos wasn't even sure if he belonged in his family anymore.
The entire thing was just a toxic mess. The Astral's, dark stars, and relationship strains were all too much for Cosmos.
So like the coward he always was, Cosmos ran.
Except this time, he couldn't return.–
Moon had made everybody a small teleport device recently, just for safety measures.
Luckily, this came in hand for Cosmos. Gripping the device roughly, Cosmos allowed it to teleport him to a random dimension.
Colours surrounded his vision, he gasped, pulling himself out of the ballpit and looking around.
He heard a spark, pulling out the teleporter device.
It was broken.
Cosmos eyes widened.
He was stuck.–

A universe where everything ended positively. Kill code, Bloodmoon, Ruin, Eclipse and Solar flare are all alive and redeemed. A universe where everything has settled down. And Cosmos gets stuck there and lowk gets adopted because I need more Cosmos content and my autistic ass came up with this.Series

Summary
A long time ago, Moon had expressed his concern over dimensional-travel situations, quickly dispersing a variety of dimension travelling devices amongst the family, just in case.
Cosmos had never thought to use it, but he kept it hidden — buried deep within his pocket with the thought of ‘Just in case.’
Now, the weirdly complex metal box sat comfortably in his hand, a bright screen flashing at him demandingly.
He breathed.
Maybe he did need a break.
Resting the tip of his finger against one of the buttons, Cosmos instinctively pressed down out of boredom.
Almost immediately, the device hummed to life — the screen flashing for a couple of seconds before returning to silence once more, limp against him.
The space beneath him swallowed him whole before he could even stop to think about what just happened.
And the device didn't come along with him.
