Summary
You are a human in a world run by monsters. They don’t bother hiding most of their monstrous traits, but they do adhere to a strict roster of theatrical and performance roles. They’re given names at birth, but choose their role as they mature. Anything from Noh and Kabuki from the east, to Commedia dell’arte, there are roles to be filled. This includes mystical roles such as the major arcana and playing cards. All monsters cover their faces as a show of propriety and respect for the old ways, but they also keep humans as pets and food livestock. There are many ferals still, hidden in back alleys and forests or disguised as monsters. Fresh, feral blood is a delicacy. At least monsters have found a way to synthesize human flesh to ensure their diet is sustainable should humans become a threatened species (which has happened in the past), but many still indulge in the hunt.
Unfortunately, even while disguised as a monster yourself, you have attracted the attention of a hunter. Fortunately, or unfortunately, he wishes to devour you in a completely different way.

Summary
Managing your monster boyfriends is a full-time job unto itself. Winter comes, and one brumates. Spring comes, and the other goes into a rut. You're just trying to study for entry exams so you can pursue an education, but Pierrot and Harlequin would keep you occupied all day if they could. Fortunately for you, they've got some lost time to make up for with one another.
