"Have we met before?" Childe asks, a playful, curious glint dancing in his eyes. "You look incredibly familiar."
"I'm just a Wanderer. You must be confusing me with someone else. I simply have a... very familiar face," he muttered, ducking his head as he tried to retreat into the wide, protective shadow of his hat.
"I'm Childe," the man replied, his voice brimming with an easy, unbothered warmth.
"Childe," Wanderer repeated, the syllable feeling strange and heavy as it lingered on his tongue.
"Child, with an 'e'," he added with a light, melodic chuckle that seemed to vibrate in the air between them. "You can call me Ajax." He extended a hand, an invitation for connection that felt startlingly bold.
"Ajax..." Wanderer paused, his gaze snagging on the peculiar, unsettling intense depth of the man's eyes. The world seemed to narrow until there was nothing left but that intense stare. "I'm... Wanderer."

Hat Guy?" Childe repeated, his eyebrows shooting up as he watched the figure draw closer. A knowing, lopsided smirk began to tug at the corner of his mouth. "I guess the name actually fits."
"And what exactly is your problem with that?" Wanderer interjected, his voice a cool breeze as he came to a halt, one eyebrow arched in characteristic disdain.
"I didn't take you for the type to be fond of nicknames," Childe teased, his smile brightening into something far more intimate.
"You'll find me to be full of surprises," Wanderer scoffed, though the sharp edge of his irritation seemed slightly blunted by the Harbinger's presence.
Aether looked between the two, his brow furrowing in confusion. "Wait... you two know each other?" he asks his voice laced with skepticism

Summary
That peace was shattered in an instant. A jagged, wind borne shard of stone came hurtling through the air, aimed directly at Childe. Before Childe could even sense the danger, Wanderer surged upward, a gust of Anemo lifting him effortlessly. He snatched the projectile out of the air mere inches from Childe's face, the stone's edge nearly grazing the ginger's cheek.
"I told you to be careful, you reckless idiot," Wanderer snapped, landing gracefully and glaring at the man who hadn't even flinched.
Childe chuckled, a low, breezy sound, and tilted his head to look at the stone in Wanderer's hand. "I could have caught that, you know. My reflexes are the best.”
"Of course," Wanderer shot back, his voice soaked in a sarcasm that seemed almost palpable. "After all, you are the almighty, all seeing warrior. Clearly, the laws of physics and sudden projectiles exist only to entertain you."

A puppet may be a creature of endless, unyielding stamina, but a human is bound by the frailty of flesh and the limits of exhaustion. Yet, looking at the singular, obsessive focus in Wanderer's gaze, it was clear he had no intention of acknowledging such mortal constraints.
Two fingers forced their way past Childe’s lips, a blunt intrusion that stifled his frantic cries into muffled, desperate whimpers. Wanderer seemed possessed his hips slamming into Childe with a bruising intensity that left the ginger haired man reeling.
“Please, please, please, please, Ajax... please,” Wanderer muttered against his skin, the repetition sounding less like a plea and more like a feverish incantation. Childe’s head thrashed back, his eyes rolling into his skull as the sheer, overwhelming force of the pleasure threatened to shatter his very consciousness. He felt hollowed out, spent, he'd came so much he wasn't sure that there was anything left inside of him.

A breathless, melodic giggle escapes Wanderer, breaking the silence of the room.
Childe pulls back just enough to raise an eyebrow, his chest heaving as he searches the other man's face for understanding. "What's so funny?"
"Nothing," Wanderer murmurs, though his eyes betray him. They are unfocused and impossibly soft, swimming with an affection that feels almost dangerous. "It's just... you look so beautiful like this."
A hot flush creeps up Childe's neck, spreading across his cheeks as he jerks his gaze sideways, unable to hold that intensity. "You can't you can't just say things like that," he stammers, his usual bravado crumbling under the weight of such sincerity.
"Why not?" Wanderer asks, tilting his head as he shifts beneath Childe, seeking to close the distance the Fatui Harbinger has tried to create.
