Unfortunately, desperation had a way of lowering standards.
They stood in the parking lot just outside Jericho, Tyler leaning against his old pickup truck like it wasn’t currently housing one of the most wanted monsters on the eastern seaboard. The truck was battered, dented, and nondescript—perfect for disappearing. Which was, annoyingly, one of the reasons she’d chosen him.
“You’re late,” Wednesday said flatly.
Tyler snorted. “Good to see you too, Addams.”
