Akkalis pounds the bench top with His fist. "CRIMINAL, YOU ARE OUT OF ORDER!"
Soldiers move in, unslinging automatic weapons, of which the barrels of two of them are now placed against Soval's and Gourd's heads.
"SOLDIERS... YOU WILL PRESS THOSE TRIGGERS IF THIS CRIMINAL ANSWERS WITH ANY WORD OTHER THAN 'GUILTY'..." Akkalis turns to Clown. "CRIMINAL, HOW PLEAD YOU?"
Clown takes her time, looking to her people, the soldiers holding the guns at their heads, then to Akkalis. She seems to be taking too much time, and one of them shifts its weight, the other begins grasping its weapon even more firmly. Then...
"Guilty..."
Clown's people can't help but show relief and even the soldiers lighten up their stance and their grip on the weapons, until—
"... provisionally so."
