Summary
He coughs again, the buds tickle his throat and have him take a sharp breath in. All he wants is to breathe easy for one day again. He suspects that he won’t be getting it anytime soon.
His breath paused as he didn’t know what to say to Kiroku afterwards, letting a silence fill the air. He didn’t know how to react to these newer feelings at all. They felt horrible and sticky and … plain old ugly.
A cassette has an A-side and a B-side, each filled with a unique experience. Both sides have a boy struggling with their feelings as they cough up flowers in the middle of the night, opaque feelings becoming crystal clear.

Summary
Kiroku could obviously hold it, of course, he had exclusive access to the weird thoughts and ideas of an upcoming galactic movie director. But he was worried anybody else who did flip through the pages would open the journal and accidentally stumble upon a passage about how much he’s thought about Kiroku’s lips, or how he’s wanted to save the texture of his fingertips as they’re pressed against his, or … anything embarrassing like that.
Akuta already knew that he was in love with his best friend, but he was struggling to find a way to preserve his feelings for him. Luckily, journals are a quick and easy way for him to get his feelings out of his chest and to put them somewhere only he could see. As he’s jotting more things down in it, he thinks he overheard something he shouldn’t have.
