Summary
Hayashi Mai’s hair is free of knots, somehow perfectly untangled in an environment where it most likely should be. Shigeki’s hair is rooted dark, wildly splitting into uneven ends unfit for an Olympian like him. Hasegawa’s soft waves are matted. Ruiko and Masanari are lucky to have Nakamigawa. Or were, right before his fingers itched for a push on a stairwell, and it all went to shit.
‘...You…Killed him.’

He looks at the bottom of the pool, and her hair is matted, flowing gently with the imaginary breeze of water and chlorine. Blood draws itself from her impaled stomach, morphing to mirror what once was the fatal wound implanted against Sasaki Hitomi. Hitomi is rotting in the cold lockers, no longer functional. Summary
Art is the sanctuary of his being. Art replaces and resents his need to be somewhere else.

Her pigtails bounce around as she walks in circles, brainstorming for a second too long while taking good guesses about how her story would continue. She is an enabler, for his eyes blur and he feels himself almost gone before she speaks again. “...’ I think I have to climb to the top of the hill if I wanna see what’s going on on the other side.”
