Summary
There is something startlingly uncanny about staring at yourself in the mirror for too long. At first glance, the reflection is easily recognizable as you, with your eyes and the familiar slope of your nose and the way your hair usually falls, but with prolonged looking, the lines of your face start to shift and blur, and suddenly the reflection before you is a stranger wearing features that are similar but different enough to yours that it makes your hackles raise.
Or, maybe it's just Dan that feels that way; maybe other people aren't entranced by their own reflections staring at them like they've never seen themself before.
Either way, that's what is going through Dan's head as he stares at someone who could only be him, but doesn't really look like him at all.

Summary
The younger Phil standing in front of him, though, doesn't know. He doesn't know how they're going to make it through everything. He doesn't know what the future holds, or even if he's rehearsing for a show that is going to be called off. Phil can see the way he holds the tension in his body, the straight lines of his shoulder accentuated by his bright, red shirt and the straps of the leather apron. The way he's standing so straight, so rigidly uncomfortable that a strong breeze could snap him in half. The lost look on his face, his brows drawn in tight, mouth set in a thin line. His black-clad fists curled into a hard grip at his side.
Phil has never seen someone so in need of some stress relief in his life
