It started with occasional hugs. Whenever they met by the bus stop, Matt would throw himself against Zach. During the first instance of this, he was genuinely pissed off.
“Dude! I could've tripped!” He shrieked angrily, causing the younger boy's joyful giggling to halt halfway. “What's wrong with you? Can't you just-” He groaned, preventing himself from further insulting his friend. After all, it was very early and other students were starting to line up for the bus.
It was quiet between them for a moment before Matt nudged him by the shoulder.

Summary
A part of Skeet wished he died at birth. Choked by the umbilical cord while the doctors tried to get him out of the womb or dropped by the hospital nurse because she was clumsy. He has dreamt of he times died much earlier on.
Would his negligent mother have cried that her firstborn died or would she be the same as she was now and sigh with relief? Would his physically abusive father curse under his breath in mourning or would he blame his mother for the death?
Everything in his life never goes his way. Nothing good ever comes his way. Should've died earlier on.
