Summary
Immediately, the memory of Atsumu screaming slams into him, an after-echo that sets his ears ringing. His eyes fly open. Panic surges through him and he cringes away from the contact—until the sound of a very familiar tongue click reaches him and his wild gaze lands on Atsumu sitting beside him clutching a piece of cloth.
Oh.
All the panicked energy drains out of Osamu’s body. “’Tsumu.”
“Yeah no shit,” Atsumu says. He sponges Osamu’s forehead with what feels like the roughest, scratchiest fabric in the world. “Good to know yer eyes ain’t broken.”
They are in a small room with a slanting ceiling and a single exposed light-bulb that is turned off at the moment to illuminate it. The walls and ceiling are both made of dull brown planks. From what Osamu can feel, he’s lying on some kind of shitty mattress, the springs digging into his back. There is also a single open window in the corner, afternoon sunlight pouring in through it. The room smells like dust and wood.
“Where are we?” Osamu asks.

The Miya Twins, a shitty room, and an even shittier situation.

Summary
Osamu pauses, half-way through feeding his brother a second mouthful of water.
Something is off.
He pulls back and evaluates his brother. Atsumu’s face is flushed in the heat. There is a slight crease in his brow. Nothing looks different. But something is definitely off.
Osamu leans back in and touches their foreheads together. Recoils immediately.
Atsumu has a fever.
Osamu’s mind blanks. Panic wells in his throat, instant and blinding.
----
It’s been three weeks since Atsumu hit his head. The wound on his head has almost healed.
In that time, he hasn’t woken even once.
