Summary
Majima can't get a cigarette into his mouth fast enough. His lighter click, click, clicks uselessly, refusing to spark.
Some habits are impossible to break, it seems, because Kiryu is there immediately, cupping a hand around the flame of his own lighter as he holds it up to Majima's cigarette. It's practically Pavlovian for them at this point. If Majima has a cigarette, Kiryu will always come to light it. If Kiryu exists, Majima will always be doomed to fall in love. If they get too close, the world will always push them apart. Two stray dogs that never learned better.
