Summary
The Dovahkiin, Dragonborn of legend - Slayer of Dragons, Defender of Tamriel, Thane of Whiterun, of Riften, of Markarth, Thief and Brother, charged with defeating Alduin, the World-Eater, is a hard woman to surprise. In her tenure as Dovahkiin, she has met Daedric Princes, traded blows with long-dead Empresses and Mad Kings, reformed guilds, lain the mighty low and, she thought, gained a healthy appreciation of the surprising and unusual. Not much could be more surprising than the first time a dragon's soul entered her body, she had thought.
But then she met Loki, the man from the woods. He was queerer by far than any of the other things she had encountered in her path to Alduin, and seemed to be as confused as her as to why he was in Tamriel, let alone stuck in a tree in the middle of the Reach.

Summary
Keshaara, Dovahkiin, Hero and Savior of Skyrim, had thought her days of incredible journeys and fates had been long over. She had sacrificed her freedom for that of another, and in doing so, had sealed a fate she had never known of. But that had been long ago, and her life had carried on. Loki had been sent to his home, as was needed. She returned home after defeating the World-Eater, and ever since then, she had lived her life.
She had not expected her life to change again. Not since Loki had fallen out of the tree had she experienced something so life-changing.
But she was Dovahkiin. And the end had not yet come for her, apparently. Now she must contend with the next great adventure in her life. An adventure in places far from home, with people and creatures she had never seen.

Summary
Keshaara, Dovahkiin and Hero...has lost everything. There is nothing left for her in Asgard but pain, and she does not wish to be in pain any longer. Her mourning will take the rest of her life, she knows that. She has lost all she could bring herself to care about, again. All is nothingness again, and she cannot bear the thought of living where Loki had once been now that he is gone from her.
So she seeks a new life, a way to start again. Skyrim is lost to her, the place she had once called home is gone, and she is left with the Nine Realms, and those Realms alone. It now becomes the question of what, and how, she will choose to live this new, lesser life of hers.
She is Dovahkiin. But she is tired.
