Summary
"Are you in heat, Jude?"
"Ngh..." The sound escapes him, despite how he tries to smother it, as Erling leans down to nose against his uncovered scent gland. Here, his chocolate smell is the strongest, and Erling's eyes flutter closed as he breathes it in greedily. "No," Jude mutters, but he's sneaking a hand up the back of Erling's neck, skimming over his undercut to wind into the blonde hair gathered on the back of his head. He uses it to mash the alpha's nose against his neck, his resolve weakening the longer Erling breathes him in.
"You smell so good," he murmurs. "How far out are you?"
"Mmph..." Jude whimpers, and his fists come up to twist in the dark fabric of Erling's hoodie. "A couple of days."
"Fuck." Erling pulls away, but Jude tightens his grip, keeping him close. "You have a game soon."
"In four days," Jude mutters. "So I need this out of my system." He suddenly grabs Erling by the collar, hauling him in so that their pelvises touch. "Help me."
Or:
Bellingham is showing signs of pre-heat. Just like in the old days, Håland helps him out.

Summary
It's stupid. The Norwegian is not his mate. He owes Jude nothing. They'd shared two good years together in Germany. Although they'd never put a label on what they had, they'd got to the point where it stopped feeling like mindless sex, and started to feel more like an actual relationship. At least, that's how Jude had felt. One evening, three months before Erling transferred to Manchester City, they had been lying in bed together. Erling was rutting, passed out on his side after filling Jude with three consecutive loads of his cum, and Jude had wound himself around his back, kissed the back of his neck and whispered into the night, "I wish you would mate me."
Erling was gone twelve weeks later. Jude has never really forgiven him, he thinks.
Or:
It is at approximately the forty-second minute mark, during their match against Argentina for a spot in the FIFA 2026 World Cup final, that Jude Bellingham realises he is in heat.
Erling Håland is 5,300 miles away.
