Summary
Set right when the Great Depression hits, Levi lives his life as a notorious mob boss and bootlegger, but has his life turned upside-down when Eren, a rookie cop with a hatred for drunkards and criminals, shows up. A changed man, he is forced to face an old friend whose life he saved when he served overseas in the Great War, risking being destroyed by his own memories in the process.

A quick heads up for those who don't like both pairings:
Part I, "Too Far Gone" is a Levi x Eren work
Part II, "Prison of the Mind" is still a Levi x Eren work, but it contains short, pretty platonic flashbacks of past Levi x ErwinThe second part is a bit heavier work overall, you'll understand why once you get there, but they're still both wonderful and I enjoyed both very, very much.
