Instantly, every guard in the room tensed. Hands drifted closer to concealed weapons.
“Let's make one thing perfectly clear.” He took a step toward Leblanc.
“I decide who speaks to him. And I decided that you would be allowed in his presence.”
A cold smile tugged at the corner of his mouth.
“Don't mistake that privilege for permission.”
