  Summary

  A young 8-year-old girl of Afro-Latina heritage named Audrey 'Marie' Andrews (MC), adopted by Noelani and Pamela Andrews, wanders off in Southern California, deep in the town of Sunset Bird. There are only tourists, old people, and old people who are tourists! Bored beyond her mind, Audrey goes to find an adventure to have. Coincidentally, she meets a tanned blonde surfer man, and her life changes forever.
