Summary
You guessed it, this is the 100th roleswap AU out on the internet. The Lunacy of Duke Venomania but Gumina is the one with the sword . However, I wanted to try to do it while changing as little about the characters' backstories as possible. Cherubim was still born deformed and locked in the basement until Sateriasis convinced their father to let him out and then met Gumina and fell in love with her over time. And this is where the first change occurs: Sateriasis also falls in love, not with Gumina, but with her retainer Carol. Because of this the two remain close and Gumina manages to convince him to try and get his father to call off their engagement, revealing that she is in love with Cherubim. Unfortunately, she doesn't know someone has listened in to their conversation: her father. He isn't willing to let his plans to elevate his family fail because of one disfigured boy and plots to assasinate him. His daughter finds out and, in a fit of rage, she murders her father. Realising what she's done, she attempts to kill herself, but IR arrives and stops her, offering her a sword, which she claims will allow her to make her dream come true. Unfortunately, she neglects to say it will make her lose track of what that dream is.
