Summary
Lady was hassling Dante as she normally was. If Trish was being honest she wasn't convinced this wasn't some form of convoluted flirting between the two of them. If either realized was truly the question.
Patty was next to her watching the other two with a mix of exasperation and amusement.
The demoness just rolled her eyes as Lady all but snarled at the nonplussed man. She made the comment without much thought, intending it more for her and Patty than anything else.
“What are you going to do bite him?”

Summary
“Oh she's not mine.” Nero said abruptly as he stood and walked over.
“What?” Dante asked, confused and not quite following.
Without any more prompting the baby was deposited in his arms, and he tried and failed to find words. Why the hell was this child just given to him? He blinked down at the baby confused, before he froze as mismatched eyes blinked up at him.
He blue screened as his brain emptied completely of thought.

Summary
When Nero had first seen Dante drop in through the ceiling of the church, shoot Sanctus, then turn to survey the crowd. His first thought hysterically had been.
‘Are you my father?’
He'd felt immediately stupid after. This wasn't a damn Dr. Seuss book. He however, could definitely be excused for the thought. After all how many people had the same white hair and the same shade of uncanny blue for their eyes?
That wasn't even mentioning the face shape. It was hard to tell from a distance, but even so it looks so much like the face he saw in the mirror.

Summary
Eventually, once the huntress was taken care of Dante was left to clean off his blood-drenched hands. It was a lot more blood than normal, and he hated why, but his mouth watered all the same. If he was being honest Lady's blood would always be special.
He'd tasted all kinds over the years, but Lady’s remained his undisputed favorite for reasons he wasn't willing to think about, let alone acknowledge.
He contented himself with licking off the blood and only remembered Patty was indeed present when the girl had made a disgusted noise. He'd paused and glanced her way only to wince at the look on her face.

Summary
Patty snickered to herself as Dante dipped the huntress dramatically before pulling her up quickly in a twirl that had Lady swaying and blinking hard. They continued on for a few more minutes before the songs eventually came to an end.
They came to a stop, foreheads resting against each other, with Dante hunched to meet her. Lady was breathing a touch harshly trying to regain her breath in the face of the unaffected hybrid.
Dante was just grinning widely, fangs gleaming in the light. Lady couldn't stop her own smaller smile despite her short breath.
Patty clapped and cheered which caused Lady to immediately push Dante away with a roll of her eyes. The man in question just pouted but bowed dramatically to his audience before following after Lady to continue pestering her.

Dante checked himself over for a moment before grabbing Rebellion from its place sheathed on his back. He leaned the long sword on a wall before pulling off his coat and throwing it to her.
"Till you get home."
Lady grabbed it out of the air and looked it over. It was relatively clean, which seemed to be good enough for her. Hells only knew it was a fall evening and getting colder by the minute. The huntress pulled it on and the thing swallowed her enough to be comical.

Nero was close by this time standing just a few feet away. He followed the speaker's line of sight to see Dante at a table. Trish sat sideways on one of his thighs back to him as she talked and Lady was leaning against his opposite shoulder and most of the way over Dante as she argued against the demoness.
Really it was utterly tame, especially compared to some positions he'd seen them in. What with walking into the shop to see the three in a heap on the couch.
He saw Dante smirk and glance over, it seemed he too had heard that comment. Trish herself even paused slightly before letting out a soft laugh. Neither however seemed bothered in the slightest.

Summary
And like that it became a routine. Patty would drag them along if they were interested every week to clean up the office. The place was never in use when they were there, but clearly was inhabited.
And as time went on they learned more and more. It was home base and where everyone crashed when not cleaning up Redgrave. Though Patty never clarified what they were cleaning up.
The office was in varying states of mess whenever they dropped in. Sometimes there were pizza boxes scattered around days old. Other times there wasn't much to clean up at all. And it seemed with them proving themselves not to get into trouble, Patty gave them more and more tasks.
