After Molly Weasley reports shocking abuse on the part of Petunia and Vernon Dursley, Albus Dumbledore makes an official decision to Turn A Blind Eye. After all, the Dursleys *are* the key to Harry's Blood Wards. Though McGonagall is appalled, she is ultimately unwilling to take a stand against Albus.
Enraged at this dual neglect, Severus Snape decides to take matters into his own hands. Little does he know that his attempts to modify Harry's Blood Wards will result in *accidentally adopting* The Boy Who Lived. Shocked and horrified, Severus is left with no choice but to move forward as best he can. After all, there's no use crying over spilled potions. . .
This fic is set just after the Weasley siblings rescue Harry from the barred window/canned soup/cat flap situation in Harry Potter & the Chamber of Secrets. It is broadly inspired by many of my favorite Snape/Harry Adoption Fics, which I have gathered into the collection Snape_Harry_FoundFamily. Thanks, all y'all, for creating such delightful fics.

Summary
Set during Hogwarts Year II. Sequel to *Blood Wards, Reforged: An August to Remember*.
SEVERUS has adopted Harry and Draco and is now the reluctant new Headmaster of Hogwarts. Severus's quiet apartment has become rather chaotic, these days. (His children have quite the collection of mischievous portraits and loud pets.)
DRACO has disenrolled from Hogwarts and is now commuting to the New York Institute for Magical Arts (NYIMA). Starting over isn't easy. Especially when Draco insists on also taking classes at Beauxbatons and Durmstrang . . .
HARRY is still attending Hogwarts and wishes his new dad would *be less embarrassing* and also *let Harry move back to Gryffindor tower.* (Because, honestly. Who makes their child live at home during the school year? It just isn't fair.)
