Devil’s Minion Week 2026 — Day 1
Prompt: Transformation Trauma / Blood SharingDaniel Molloy will drink Armand’s blood from a wineglass, a tumbler, even an ancient chipped coffee mug. What he will not do is drink it directly from Armand.
At first, Armand is patient. Daniel’s transformation is still new, their reunion is even newer, and there are some intimacies that cannot simply be resumed after decades apart. But when Daniel’s reluctance begins extending beyond blood sharing, Armand is left to draw his own conclusions. Unfortunately, Armand de Romanus has never encountered an emotional misunderstanding he could not make catastrophically worse through several weeks of silent observation, increasingly elaborate seduction attempts, and a deeply unhealthy commitment to making himself useful.
Daniel, meanwhile, has been making an equally disastrous assumption of his own.
Or: Daniel is terrified that wanting too much from Armand will make history repeat itself. Armand is terrified Daniel no longer wants him at all. Neither of them thinks to actually ask until things get very, very stupid.

Prompt: Exhibition / VoyeurismA Talamasca agent follows Armand and Daniel into a Paris bar expecting to observe two vampires from a safe distance.
Unfortunately for him, Armand noticed him hours ago.
Even more unfortunately, Armand is enjoying being watched, Daniel discovers he enjoys being watched with him and what begins as surveillance quickly becomes a performance neither of them has any intention of keeping private. By the time their increasingly fascinated observer realizes he has stopped doing his job and started participating in the evening in an entirely different capacity, it is far too late to make the sensible decision and leave.Or: Armand likes an audience. Daniel likes being the thing Armand shows off. A Talamasca field agent learns several extremely important lessons about voyeuristic vampires and why you should never stare hungrily at a hungry thing.
