[BEING REWRITTEN]
Evan ‘Buck’ Buckley was a screw up, no doubt in that, he had been alone for his recovery after getting dumped by Taylor nobody really checked in on him after his leg got crushed, and after the pulmonary embolism AND tsunami he was physically cleared for duty.
During his clipboard era he met Chase Mackey after his ‘building inspection’ and timing the 118 on their response time, he got to know Chase and how he dealt with situations with firefighters, police and doctors. Buck felt trapped after talking with Bobby and learnt he was the one holding him back he decided suing was his option to get his job and family back.
Oh how Buck was wrong. He got offered $8 million dollars to settle but he dropped it in order to get his job back. To be with his family again. He was wrong, they hated him. Brushed off his apologies, didn’t invite him out to places and worst of all the people he donated sperm to died in a crash.
He didn’t deserve their help raising Theo, he was the reason Buck was sober again, happier but still financially struggling.
Will the 118 mend their relationship with single-father-traumatised Buckley? Or will Buck leave?

"Buck, what are you going to do about it?" Bobby asked, slightly shuffling in his seat asking about the captain that has attempted and failed to fill Bobby's role, Buck hated it.
"I have to quit." Buck stared at his father figure in front of him, his voice clearly hesitant to keep going. "I can't take being his favourite anymore. He.. he calls me his little buddy, and he- uhm touches me.." Bobby's eyebrows shot up in shock, and he whole-heartedly expected Buck to remark with a "Not like that" --But it never came.
Will Buck tell Bobby what that man did to him?
Is a short story (Hopefully it goes well) I am writing a main book, if you guys would like to check it out. If not that's alright, please enjoy and read with caution of triggers. There will be no warning before and after chapters, you go in blind and come out traumatised okay?
