Summary
Every day since they met, Jack had seen Robby trace the mark with his thumb. It was on the inside of his wrist, the D.W. a perfect image of the J.A. on the other arm. He had insisted that it was a sign the mark was real, that there was a balance, a third soul to be found. Sometimes, when Jack saw Robby sinking into the black pit of depression, when he couldn’t pull him out, he found himself believing it was true.
or: Robby and Jack finally meet the man whose mark they bear, but Dennis Whitaker isn't aware that he bears theirs.

Summary
“Trinity Santos. T.S. I suppose you have that written down somewhere.”
She could hear her voice, but barely; her heart was pounding so loudly in her ears.
“Indeed,” Baran replied.
Is that all?
Trinity had expected shock, maybe even screams or tears. But Baran had responded with a calmness that bordered on boredom. Her large brown eyes showed no torment, no agitation.
How could Trinity have so much fire in her yet inspire so little passion?
or: Trinity reveals to Baran that they are soulmates and dramatically misinterprets her reaction.
