Summary
Harry Potter’s daughter Lily attends Hogwarts in the shadow of her father’s fame. Fortunately, her roommate is the Minister for Magic’s daughter, Henna Shacklebolt, who shares her fate. With all eyes on them, they must succeed in their studies whilst being forced to separate the wheat from the chaff amongst their classmates, some of whom turn into rivals and others who merely wish to bask in their glory.
Amongst their classmates is Adam Wilson, a rowdy lad from poor circumstances whom Lily initially ignores. He loves to tease everyone, until he gets into a row with Lily one day, resulting in serious consequences. This marks the beginning of an unusual friendship that quickly develops into something more than they had intended, forcing Lily’s father, Harry, to intervene to guide them on their way into adulthood.
This story is a coming-of-age tale set in the wizarding world and focuses more on the relationships at the boarding school than on the education at Hogwarts itself. Harry Potter’s family takes centre stage, but the entire Weasley clan is involved, and the story follows several members of the family over the seven years that Lily attends Hogwarts.
