“That Iglesias guy, from Spain…” Loki starts, voice cold yet curious. “He’s a little odd, no? And he’s had his eye on you all night, now that I think about it. Old friends?”
Sae levels the French striker with a look, mouth curling up into a sneer. “No. Barely even know the guy.” Which wasn’t exactly a lie, he hardly knew Bunny when they had spent every day together. He has no idea what the other is like now, but he doubts there’s been any improvement. Still, the words made his chest ache when he said them.
Loki smirks at him, body turning away from him as he motions for Hugo to move on. “You should probably tell him that, then. That look in his eye… he knows you, I’m sure of it.”
Sae should have known better, but he was still just a stupid fucking child deep down.
