  Summary

  "More coffee?"
Mydei looks up and for a moment feels like the breath has been knocked out of him, words lost in the face of the man who is hovering by his table. Handsome. Beautiful. Winsome is how Mydei would describe him in one of his books. He has clear bright eyes and an expression so sweet and boyish that it puts him in mind of a puppy.
Unfortunately, because of his surprise and inappropriate staring, it takes him a beat too long to answer and the man's smile turns from friendly to something more knowing. Like he can see inside of Mydei’s head and all the indecent thoughts he’s trying to desperately put a lid on.
