Summary
Gerard Way is in their second-last semester of university. The last few years have not been easy, getting a psyche degree was no joke. They've barely been able to keep their head above water, and trying to get all the qualitative interviews done for their capstone research project has them ready to either drop out of drop dead. And, as if summoned by the devil, the final participant they have lined up the meet their quota is one [F], a dude who seems intent on totally fucking up their data and wasting their time.
Frank Iero (so-called F) is so, so horny. He spends most nights deep in a book, cause his insane prof has them reading a novel a week, and the few times he gets out of the dorm, it's to play a gig in which he gets too shitfaced to really enjoy himself. But seeing that weird loser - that weird, cute loser - from the psyche program hanging hideous flyers begging for study participants, Frank thought it could be a cheat code to getting his dick wet. Or at the very least, he thought he could have some fun with them.

In an era where search engines are basically non-functional and asking your mom for help mean's she'll just send you whatever response chatgpt gave her, the last bastion for advice on the internet is Reddit, where decades worth of unfiltered responses (and opinions and sarcasm and snark) stand the test of time to help you solve whatever problem you're going through.
In Frank Iero's case, his late night scrolling has led him to Gerard's own Reddit account, and with it, a time capsule of their relationship.
