Road Runner leaned in to read what Coyote had written, and then let out a soft, almost musical series of coos that carried surprisingly far on the dry air. The sound made Coyote's entire posture melt from nervous rigidity into something shy and hopeful.
It was perhaps the cutest thing Kevin had ever seen.
