Summary

The young man’s mouth twisted. Holding Jeremy’s gaze, he spit a pool of blood into the dirt at his feet.
“I can go on,” he said, his voice ragged and deep.
Jeremy raised his eyebrow once more, his lips stretching into a slow and provocative smile.
