What Cage E. Coyote doesn't realize is that the Road Runner is not only actually very, very difficult to catch, but he's also more than willing to disassemble him just to hear his son's voice.
(Or, the Road Runner discovers that Wile E. not only can talk, but that the only reason Wile E. doesn't talk to him is because of his stupid father's stupid rule.)

Summary
It comes to a certain point where something, not quite guilt, more like fear of having his crime discovered, starts to show in the Road Runner’s behavior.
No one gets what his anxiety really is, with the exception, of course, of the most observant person in the room.
(Or, the sequel to Thia Kane, and five times that one of their close friends misinterprets what has Road Runner on the edge, plus one time that someone is well aware of what it is.)
