Despite any sort of logic, K feels himself relaxing the tiniest bit at the stranger’s gentle tone. He exhales deeply, questions still bumping around his head. The man isn’t very talkative so K will have to continue pushing if he wants to learn anything. K is used to others filling in the silence he supplies while this stranger seems to thrive alongside K in it.
