Usually, his rare lonely nights were forgiven after a coffee run to his favorite place, an overly dramatic apology in between Jack eating him out, or Robby specifically keeping him close by on day shift for traumas. But sometimes the reality that he was dating the senior attending and night shift attending meant that date nights were cancelled and literal planned sex times were rescheduled and his attention levels were at a critical level.

Summary
The Sub designation in his file is only important for Human Resources. He doesn’t take extra days off despite them being allotted. He doesn’t want to. He has sessions across town, at a separate, private clinic where he can get someone to clinically fuck him and clinically get him into a Drop. Then he can clinically be cleared for another month and HR can clinically kiss his ass.
Robby likes to think that he’s good at keeping things separated. Keeping his designation life separated from his work life. There’s no reason to cross contaminate. He has barriers in place to keep everything in line and most of the time it works.
Except when biology decides to evolve past his barriers. Except when Jack is around.
