Summary
“The little blue pill would be conspicuous enough, but Dennis taps one out and needlessly tells him, “Open up, Robby,” as though he needs cajoling. As if Robby wouldn’t do anything to make Dennis happy. The colouring on Robby’s cheekbones is part indignation, part guilty pleasure, when Dennis pops the viagra on his own tongue.
Dennis leans in to kiss him, and, like a celestial body, Robby can’t help but lean in too.”

Summary
"What?"
"You jumping at the first opportunity for some ass? You've known Larissa for, what, ten minutes?"
"Y'know, I don't really think it's any of your fuckin' business what I do," He scoffs. "And, for that matter, I don't think you're one to talk! I've seen the way you move through these parties, Michael."
"What, you callin' me a whore?"
"Maybe I am," They're almost chest-to-chest at this point, and Jack can feel Robby's breath ghosting over his face. "You're certainly dressed like one—"
"Slut-shaming isn't a good look on you, Abbot."
"Pot, meet kettle." Jack glares, "Y'know, not everything is about you, Robinavitch."
It's a lie, and a bad one at that. They both know it— it's just a continuation of their little game of chicken. Really, he didn't need Larissa to tell him Robby was interested; he already knows. It was just a matter of who will take the first step. Who will cross that line they've been toeing, who will make the first real move.
Turns out, it's Robby.

Summary
After a long shift, Dennis just wants one patient who isn't a complete asshole, won't die, and won't pee on him. Sadly, in wishing for all of this, he wished for something (or someone) way worse. Speak of the Devil, and She Shall Appear.

Summary
Jack had set him up with a “challenge” several weeks ago. It involved things like taking his medication every day, drinking more water than coffee, getting at least seven hours of sleep a night, and eating a minimum of two full meals a day. Jack had been keeping tabs on Robby—as best as he could, given they worked opposite shifts—and hadn’t yet been satisfied with Robby’s performance.
Until now.

"Our little mouse got ahold of our photo albums. And that now he’s so damn horny my dick won’t just cut for him.”
“Fuck,” Jack hissed through the speaker. “I’m in public, you know. Gonna have me popping a boner in front of half the doctors in the fucking county. I’ll be home in forty five minutes,” he said. “Don’t touch him until I get there, Robby. Well. No more than I know you already have.”
“I think I can do that,” Robby smirked up at him. “Before you go, do you remember where your album from Fort Benning is?”

Summary
Well that’s an unexpected sight.
The thought runs through two specific heads at once as eye contact is made from across the room, one at a small table and the other on the dance floor. At the small table sits Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, his shift at PTMC ending only a few hours prior. He is only out because he needed to get his mind off things, one of those things being the person on the dance floor. On the dance floor is Dennis Whitaker, his shift at PTMC ending only a few hours prior, who came out to have a fun time with what was left of Halloween night.

Summary
Sometimes Dennis didn’t know how he ended up in these situations. But he was a broke med student if he saw a chance for extra cash. And so that is how he found himself in an art studio with almost nothing but a cardigan in a cool studio reminiscent of the hospital with white walls and lighting. And people waiting to see his almost naked body be displayed before them for the next few hours.
Robby didn’t take much time to himself these days. Not many people knew what exactly he did outside of work when he had the chance. Generally that was how he liked it. It was nice being able to get away sometimes. Away from the same familiar faces. People who didn’t know who he was and didn’t care. He did art study nights sometimes when he had time off, Everyone was focused on their own work and not him. And he didn’t have to stress about someone dying under his watch, just pen on paper.
Note: Smut is in chapter 2 :)
OR: Dr. Robby is a closet artist and Dennis agreed to be a live poser to have people practice on him. What could go wrong when they run into each other outside of the Pitt?

Summary
Robby didn’t know why he felt this way — why his chest felt hollow, why his own reflection looked like someone else’s. He wasn’t Hamlet, though some days it felt like he carried that same quiet tragedy, heavy and unspoken. He wasn’t Ponyboy Curtis either, not really, though the world still burned around him in ways he couldn’t control.
No… he felt like Gatsby.
Gatsby, standing on the edge of everything, reaching for something just out of grasp. Gatsby, longing not for Daisy — but for Tom. And maybe, if Gatsby had reached out a little sooner… held on a little longer… maybe the ending would have been different.
But Tom had Daisy.
And Gatsby had a bullet in his back.
Robby swallowed hard against the thought, knowing it didn’t change anything. Because no matter how much he tried, no matter how long he reached, Jack was always just out of reach — like a green light across the bay, forever burning, forever distant. -

Summary
Robby never liked going out to drink. What would his bubbe say if she saw him, surrounded by alcohol and promiscuity? Well, it’s a good thing she’s not here, because then she’d really have something to say about what he’s about to do to the cute older man that just called him a pretty boy.

Summary
He waits until the commercial break to ask what’s been bothering him since that afternoon. “Hey, Trin.”
“Make it snappy, bloodhound.” She slides down the couch, shoving her cold toes under his thigh.
“Do you think Doctor Robby’s been, like, singling me out?” Saying it out loud makes him cringe even though there’s no other way to phrase it and he really needs a second opinion.
“Oh, yeah.” She scoffs, offering him a bright grin. “You’re his best boy.”
“What?!” He – he refuses to admit that he squeaks but his voice does go up an octave, heat rushing to his cheeks.Whitaker goes through the motions and gets that old man in the end

“You got a verse for that, too?”
Once again, Dennis pauses to think, willing his futile diploma into good use. He tries to stay focused as he meets Robby’s patient gaze, but the sight leaves his heart kicking erratically against his ribs.
“‘Come now, and let us reason together. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; if they’re red like crimson, they shall become like wool.’”
“Jeez, Whitaker,” Robby huffs, elated. “You got the whole book memorized?”
“Something like that.”
Robby and Whitaker keep running into each other at the hospital's chapel.

Summary
“Hmmm,” Santos said, tapping her chin dramatically. “Who do we know that’s old, has ‘Michael’ somewhere in their name, has no kids and is single, and was impacted by PittFest?”
Whitaker shook his head. “No. you’re not—”
Santos grinned. “Oh yes. Yes I am.”
“It can't be Robby."
