Notes:

The titles of my F1 Kinktober entries are commonly (and not-so-commonly) used words in my mother tongue, Hiligaynon. I've been living away from home for the past two years and slowly but surely, I feel like my innate knowledge of my first language is slipping away. It took me quite some time to remember these words, because the first that would come to mind would be Tagalog words (considering that I use Tagalog more often now than Hiligaynon) or English words.

My mother tongue, Hiligaynon, is often considered to be a "sweet" language due to the sing-songy tone of speech. There's even a joke in my country that if a Hiligaynon speaker got mad and started cussing out a non-Hiligaynon speaker, the non-Hiligaynon speaker would think that the Hiligaynon speaker was saying sweet things to them when in reality, they were cursing them and their bloodline in one breathe.

I hope that the titles, and their little descriptions in the author's notes at the beginnings of the entries, gave you a glimpse into my language, one that still makes my heart soar when I hear it spoken to me in places far away from my hometown.
