Summary
Shadow and Amy Rose have built the life they always dreamed of—a quiet home, a loving marriage, and three wonderful children. Then, in a single terrifying afternoon, everything shatters.
Rosemary and Orion are abducted in broad daylight, leaving Maria as the only witness. Desperate for answers, Shadow comes out of retirement and turns to the one person he trusts most—his former G.U.N. partner
.
Her investigation uncovers a chilling lead. The kidnappers belong to the infamous Jackal Squad, a ruthless mercenary organization pursuing an ancient artifact rumored to lie within the long-lost civilization of Babalone, buried somewhere beneath the sands of Egypt.Rescuing the children means surviving ruins where countless treasure hunters have vanished.
There is only one person alive capable of leading them through the forgotten city: the legendary adventurer, Sonic the Hedgehog.
The problem?
No one knows where he is... or how to convince him to help.
Or now, do they?
Now, with time running out and the trail growing colder, Shadow, Amy, and Sonic must race against mercenaries, deadly traps, and the mysteries of a lost civilization.
