Summary
As promised, these are the last few sections of All The Way Home that I decided to cut off from the story. It makes the ending more neat. But these little bits follow on directly from the end and bring the story up to Illya having his second transplant, and I suppose make it more satisfying if you want to see him all the way to an almost full recovery.

Summary
It's the late 1970s. Illya has been blind for at least ten years, and he and Napoleon now have two children. Thrush realise that's a weakness that can be too easily exploited.
For some background, this actually occurs after an installment of this saga that I've started writing but haven't finished. That installment establishes that Waverly is dead and Illya is now the head of U.N.C.L.E. New York. He and Napoleon live in the penthouse that Napoleon inherited from his Aunt Amy.
I've chosen not to use archive warnings because although the violence in this isn't extreme, there's unpleasant homophobia, and also violence/threat towards young children, which was really hard for me to write.

Summary
It's the 1970s, and Illya has become head of U.N.C.L.E. in the wake of Alexander Waverly's death. His first major U.N.C.L.E. summit is about to go ahead, but Thrush have other plans.
I didn't tag this for 'major character death' because I don't think Waverly's death from old age is a major shake up of the universe, and I don't want to scare people off by thinking anyone else dies. Just be warned here, this is how it starts. Be aware, this story contains period-typical homophobia.
This has been sitting on my computer for sooo long, but I think it's time I accept it's not going to get any better, and post it. I might alter it with edits in the future.
