Summary
For a second, it’s just them two, here in this room. Nothing else outside matters, and it’s so quiet. There’s not even any wind whistling or bugs chirping. Just complete, dead silence.
It would be eerie in any other situation, but Kuroo is used to the silence now.

Summary
There’s a handful of people on the beach, but they’re far away from the two of them, and Bokuto feels a surge of emotion well up in his chest. He sighs, loudly, and Kuroo turns to look at him, questioningly.
“What’s up?” Kuroo murmurs, bringing his legs up to his chest so he can rest his cheek on his knees, staring at Bokuto next to him.
Bokuto scratches the back of his neck. “Nothin’, just... I’m really glad I met you.”

Summary
A few of the others laugh, and Bokuto sloshes his drink a bit when he sweeps his arms out wide. “These guys don’t seem to think I’m telling the truth.”
Kuroo blinks. Oh god, this can’t be good. “Telling the truth… about what?”
Bokuto flashes a wide grin before chugging the rest of his drink in one go. “The truth that I could totally bounce a quarter off my ass!”

Summary
“You were moping,” Oikawa says, rolling his eyes. “I needed to get you out of the apartment before your negative vibes rotted all my plants.”
“I was not moping.”
“You ate all of my energy bars and then took a bunch of power naps in between marathoning House Hunters,” Oikawa looks up and blinks at him blankly. “You only watch House Hunters alone when you’re moping.”
Kuroo can’t really argue with that.
