There were small wishes, for foods he’d never tried and films he’d never watched, and great hopes, for awards with his name engraved upon them, for a day with a child of his own. And then there was a secret.

Summary
As a child, Hoseok’s universe imploded when he lost his mother, was lost by his mother – three foot tall and crying, alone. He thought hope had left him too.

Namjoon had carved their initials in the sand, told him he loved him with words. And then he had told him with a kiss, with a flow of tears. Said, “Seok-ah, I never wanted us to be a sad story.”
Hoseok had clasped his fingers tighter, replied, “It’s not just ours.”
