Summary
“Ship off the larboard bow!” Hinata’s voice called down from amongst the sails. They all charged out of the cabin and up onto the quarterdeck. Daichi lifted his spyglass to his eye and pointed it to the front of the boat and to the left.
Just barely visible was the outline of a ship, like a flickering shadow cutting through the water at an astonishing rate. He tipped glass up slightly until he settled on the flag identifying the vessel, flapping in the wind. His breath caught as saw it was black, three blood red claw marks slashing diagonally across it.
He lowered the spyglass as his heart pounded in his chest, his throat dry as he tried to find the words. “It’s the Nekoma.”Series

Summary
This is a spinoff of As the Crow Sails, my multichapter pirate AU. There may be spoilers in it? I think reading this first might confuse you if you read ATCS next, but I certainly won't discourage you from reading both! :D Below is a brief synopsis to set the scene:
Captain Sawamura Daichi was sailing his ship, the Karasuno, to the island of Miyagi when his ship was attacked by the pirate Kuroo Tetsurou, the captain of the Nekoma. Karasuno is defeated and marooned on an island with only a little drinking water and no weapons. Kuroo had sent Governor Oikawa a letter telling him Daichi's location if he'd like to rescue the man he had hired, but so far the crew of the Karasuno have had no hope of rescue.Series

As Bokuto and his crew go off to raid Governor Oikawa's party, Kita is left on the ship to hope for his return.

I recommend reading it first, but not too necessary for this one!Terushima's owns a tavern on the island of Johzenji, the only pirate-friendly island in the Caribbean. His lover, Ennoshita Chikara, is working diligently at a nearby table, until he gets distracted by someone who isn't Terushima, and it pisses the tavern keeper off.
