A spin-off of my main series, For the Republic, the important details of which you can find through the notes. This is basically the story of how Sidious is responsible for just about all of the insanity of the rest of the Cannon Darksiders, and how they end up reforming themselves into a government and interpretation of the Sith Code that, while it doesn’t exactly match up with the beliefs of the Jedi (obviously), nor with the design of the Republic, it does match up with basic morals, and, unlike the Cannon CIS or the Empire, it actually is made to be long-lasting.

Oh, and there’s “family” drama and femslash.

Notes:

Important bits from For the Republic:

• Shadow Warriors AU where Padmé puts the Republic first; Grievous is dead and Dooku tortures Anakin for about two months while trying to destroy Sidious’ power over the boy so that he can’t be replaced
• Ahsoka is put in charge of the 501st during Anakin’s capture, and Obi-Wan is (technically) her temporary Master because the Jedi are horrible
• Anakin remembers Mortis in the process of Dooku desecrating his mind, figures out Sidious, and generally spends about 5 months (SW months are 35 days, 5 months=175 days) being either tortured, mind raped, or planning the murder-suicide of himself and Sidious, as well as teaming up with Bail, Fives, Rex, Artoo, and Windu to fix up the Republic and create a safe-guard against Order 66
• the twins are born much earlier, probably around the time where they were conceived in Cannon
• long story short, but I mentioned that “even DOOKU... fix the Republic and Jedi,” and my panic attack accidentally became a spin-off series.
• in the middle of all of this, Anakin finds himself trapped between two Sith Lord during the Deception AU, and... completely panics.
• Anakin actually almost succeeds at the suicide part of murder-suicide
