“If at least for my sake and somehow not your sanity, take a break,” Chibita pleaded. “I’ll be home later on, but I don’t wanna come back to an undead version of you.”
“Would me making the effort to do so make you feel better, love?” Karamatsu asked, guilty.
“Yeah, but you’d definitely be the one feeling happier if you do. Just hearing you tried would be music to my ears too.”
“Okay then, I won’t fail you! I can’t guarantee anything, but when you come home, I’ll have a satisfactory verdict to the issue at hand.”In which Karamatsu discovers parenting is hard and needs a "daddy day off". So, who better than his beloved mother to do the job for a little bit? At least, until a surprise request of hers hadn't come up and left her without any other option but to call for a backup babysitter.
Or rather, a backup babysitter times /5/. This can only end well for everybody involved.
