The Grey Side is a canon divergence spanning over the entire Star War series, containing bits and pieces from the movies, various novels, and then some old-fashioned changing things around as my whims dictate. Stories won't always be in exact chronological order, but they all take place within the same established AU. Darth Plagueis/Snoke's appearance description is based on Darth Plagueis concept art (top row, last on the right); his personality here varies from canon a bit because I've decided to make him less of an irrational dingdong, and I intend this series to be a slightly feel-good (???) "fix it" where these three guys actually behave like a team. I think that's the important bits to know, if you're reading this before heading in.
