From the day Kakeru was announced as the next fuujinshi, Sho knew that he was going to bear a heavy responsibility to kill Kakeru as the fuujinshi’s partner. Sho knew that, and Kakeru did as well; they both kind of accepted the truth, though to a different degree.
Kakeru loved Sho, and Sho loved Kakeru. They both realized this from early on. And because Kakeru loved Sho, he put some distance between them. Knowing that in the future one of them would be dead and the other left alive, not letting each other get too close is a better option.
Who knew that a strange turn of events would lead Sho to this moment—a fantasy he used to have but thought he'd never have.
