Astarion felt the ground beneath his feet shift as the portal opened. He tried to step away from it, but Hope was still gripping his arm. He growled and shook the grip off. Handing the pups to her. He moved towards Halsin. Vines slid through the portal and grabbed him.
He snarled and tried to fight them.“Halsin!” He cried.
When the druid turned to him his eyes were wrong. There was an inky blackness creeping into them. The alpha grimaced and raised his hand.

Summary

The Order of the Crimson Oleander doesn't accept resignations, instead they will take what they consider theirs and return it to where it belongs.
