A man cursed by god dies at 26. As a gift from an interdimensional being, he won the reincarnation lottery (shocking, i know) and chooses to reincarnate into the star wars universe at the time of Anakin Skywalkers birth, hoping to stop the events of his fall and hopefully bringing balance to the force. NOT A GAMER FIC, although there are very minor elements such as basic character sheets.

Summary
After accepting a foolish bet, amateur Ben Quadinaros signs up as a podracing contestant in the Boonta Eve Classic. Before the race is about to begin, he starts to panic and realizes he is in way over his (sizable) head. He decides to take a walk and loses himself in the deserts of Tatooine. In doing so, he makes a new friend and finds himself in the process.

Summary
Anakin’s expression changed, and he began to look Obi-Wan over with a stern gaze, seemingly assessing him. After a long pause, he suddenly launched into a question: "Tell me, are you an angel?"
Obi-Wan was surprised by the question, then laughed whilst blushing wildly. "Me? No. Well, not that I know of. Why do you ask that?"
"Because I might be," Anakin said as he turned around to reveal a small pair of blue wings on his back that protruded through two ripped holes in his jacket, before fluttered them playfully at the young Jedi.
An epic retelling of the Prequel era, with influences from the various works of Paul Verhoeven; William S. Burroughs; Sion Sono; Brian K. Vaughn; Alejandro Jodorowsky; Takashi Miike; Kim Ki Duk; Park Chan Wook; Nicholas Winding Refn; Homer; Martin McDonagh; Peter Strickland; Terry Southern; John Waters; and of course, George Lucas.
Merging all these sensibilities with 1930s and 1950s action sci-fi pulp, and you have Book One: He Spoke Of Angels.
