Summary
It started with a lighthouse.
It took a while for the lighthouse to get built. It was a particularly small and rocky island, and there'd been some crashes (none were fatal, thankfully) but there was enough trouble that the people decided the lighthouse was much needed.
It started really slow. Boats would come to the small island with materials and supplies, dozens of workers came along with it and they went on to work, slowly building the lighthouse piece by piece.
Dream didn't even notice it was there until it got high enough that he could see it during his regular flight over, choosing mostly to ignore the humans that are working day and night only to crowd into his airspace. It was rude, to be fair.
George noticed it way before that, however. Humans with their boats, crossing his swimming path, dumping shit into the water surrounding them, getting it a bit muddy and disgusting. Again, humans were kind of rude for that.
Sapnap is a lighthouse keeper (human, of course), and during one stormy night, he finds himself in a bit of a problem when a bird-man crashed into his lighthouse. He doesn't know anything about these people. His solution? Find the fish-guy and ask him for help.
